I shot state volleyball on Saturday in Denver. I had a lot of fun shooting the highs and lows of the two teams I was covering. Especially Savannah Garcia #1 of Valley High School. Having covered her team earlier in the year and knew that she really gets into it. She plays with so much heart, every point is so important. It was sad to see her team lose in the finals. I could have just done a blog on her alone but I threw in a few others from the day. Enjoy.

Eric, Thanks for the great photography of my daughters Savannah, Meagan and Valley Volleyball. I have purchased some images from the tribune already but some of these were not available, will they be?
I have a design/advertising studio and have been shooting some amateur action shots for my daughters with a Sony Alpha 700 and a SAL70200G ( 70-200mm F2.8 G Lens)
any suggestions on what setting might work best? ISO, filter, etc, etc?
Now shooting basketball (indoors) Appreciate your feedback.Again thanks for the great shots! your action shots and blk and white portraits are beautiful.
Sincerely,
Ken Garcia -
What a great blog! Thank you for taking the time to see in Savannah what her coach saw in her this season.
